"People and places are not always as they first appear"

I have travelled to Dubai on three occasions now and I can honestly say I love it there and not for the same reasons as many people do.

There are some of the most beautiful and mesmerising places in Dubai, perfect for bohemian free-spirited souls.

A few of my favourite places include:

1. The Market at Jumeriah Beach

2. Cove Beach

3. Dubai Miracle Gardens

4. Meena Bazaar

5. Marina Walkway Pier

I will tell you a little bit more about each of these places below. I would highly recommend each of them if you are planning a trip to Dubai. Feel free to message me if you would like any more info or even to tell me about your trip. I would love to hear about all about it :).

1. The Market at Jumeriah Beach

The Market at Jumeriah beach is amazing and it is placed in such a beautiful setting, right in front of the beach amidst the busy street of Jumeriah Beach Walk. What makes it so special is that even amongst all of the chaos, it is somewhere you can go and get lost amongst all of the beautiful creations and it is filled with happy, beautiful souls and bohemian treasures.

The market is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00am - 12:00am. There are so many beautiful items including boho outfits, gypsy dresses, hippie style skirts, fringe bags, boho jewellery, shell sandals and boots. Here is a sneak peak of a few of my favourite purchases:

I absolutely adore the turquoise shell sandals (these are handmade by beautiful souls at Summersouldubai - they have so many beautiful creations, their stall is a must see! (you can also check them out in Instagram) and the black shell bikini. I loved the shell bikini so much I bought it in turquoise too!

The market is also home to a beautiful array of dream-catchers, wind-chimes, handmade arts and crafts and stunning boho decor. I particularly love shells and there were so many different items made from shells! I couldn't help myself! I wanted to buy them all and open up my own beach hut to live in and put them all on display (maybe one day! :D).

The market is filled with uniquely designed clothing and accessories, perfect for like-minded bohemian wanderers, dreamers, gypsies and hippies. Each of the stalls are situated under a number of colourful parasols in front of Jumeriah beach so you can't miss them! It is a must-see for when you visit Dubai.

2. Cove Beach

Cove Beach is an anjelic beach where you can admire the stunning view of the Arabian gulf, relax in the sea-breeze and collect the most beautiful shells. Here is me doing just that:

We just relaxed, collected shells, sat on the beach and listened to the waves all afternoon. It is also however a private beach where you can dine at the beach restaurant overlooking the sea and party into the evening if that is something you would like to do.

The entrance is free but they do also have some promotional packages you can purchase on entry if you intend on dining and drinking.

It is a tranquil retreat with silky white sand and clear blue sea where ones mind can wander.

3. Dubai Miracle Gardens

Dubai Miracle Gardens is my absolute favourite place in Dubai. It is a breathtakingly charming display of the beauty of nature and the artistic creations of beautiful souls.

It is magical!

There are so many colours. A place where you feel happy and completely free of any troubles.

4. Meena Bazaar

Meena Bazaar is full of colours, culture, delicious food, intriguing apparel, home decor, mehendi designs and jewellery.

You will find all sorts of unique bohemian finds at extremely affordable prices.

As you can see there is also a variety of stunning ethnic jewellery, boho kimono's, harem pants, gypsy skirts. boho cushions and much more bohemian chic decor inspiration.

There is also a family-run street stall selling potato bhajia outside the harem pants shops and it is the best bhajia I have ever tasted! It is also incredibly cheap - you must try it! You have to cross the river on the boat to get to Meena Bazaar and once you do, you will find the Harem Pants/ Boho/ Gypsy skirts and dress shops in the bazaars in the walkways on the left.

I hope you enjoy!

5. Marina Walkway Pier

Last but not least, the end of the Marina Walkway Pier is my favourite place to start or end the day with the sunrise/ sunset. See why for yourself:

It's phenomenal.

The best time to visit Dubai is between November - May, otherwise it is just too hot. I hope you manage to get to visit and love it as much as I do!

Remember feel free to message me. I would love to hear about your travels too!

Sending positive vibes, peace, love and light your way...
